Website Update , Harp Lessons , and other stuff

As you will see over the next few days we are having some major changes done to the website.
As well as the changes going off on the website we have made a decision no longer to work with the agency called Alive Network this is due to a difference of opinion and also because Alive Network does not consider me for work outside of Yorkshire  -( I do actually cover the whole of the UK.)

Booking me direct is also cheaper as you do not have to pay the commission that the agency puts on top and I have no hidden extras my prices are clear cut .

I have insurance through the Musicians Union and I am fully insured as well as CRB checked .
I do not just perform at weddings I also perform in schools, workshops, concerts, fund raisers and in addition to this I also offer Private Harp tuition and I currently have over 35 harps which is probably the  most harps owned by one person in the UK.

If you have ever fancied learning the harp , or would perhaps like to purchase one of my cd's then please do not hesitate to get in touch

i am also currently working on a exciting project with the Author David John Widdop performing works from his book  The Book of Caris and his latest book The Book of Anon which was released late last year

I hope you will enjoy the new website and will continue to support me as many of you have in the past

Easter

we have had quite a busy week Kate has been making more harps and converting some of her triple harps into quad hard with 4 sets of strings . She is playing at a wedding up near York on sunday I think me and my girls will be going with her to take the driving out of it and we will also have a look round whilst we are there.
I am in a bit of a quandry I wanted to send my son Jack that I do not see a Easter egg but missed the post not sure if I should send one now or just a letter afterwards I will have to have a think on that one.
I have managed to plant the wheat approximately 1/2 a tonne so far and this year I have flattened the land and deliberately compacted it in order to see if I get a better result I watched a local farmer do this last week and he has grown so much over the last few years he must be doing something right so I thought it would be worth a try.

Snow and Lessons

Yesterday morning I was back at the Doctors, nothing new there hten and last night I was at College , furthering my knowledge of website design . The plan is to set up a new company in May this year but first I have got to pass the exam and when I got home last night it appeared a mouse had chewed through my computer cable.
A trip to my Step Dads house was required and I finally got back just after midnight with adaptor mended but too tired to do much I answered a few emails and then went up to bed.

Meanwhile Katie told me she had , had a night of a few phone calls one Lady seemingly thought I actually played the Harp -Nope I definately do not I have my own personal harp player no need to play myself not that I would be very good with all those strings anyway I do not have the patience either but for those aspiring to play the harp Katie does actually teach and enquiries can be directed to her on 01535 642581 . The best bit been is she also hires out harps so you do not have to go to the expense of bying your own just to have a go and then find out it is not for you and that your stuck with a very expensive instrument.

Plan for this morning is to go to Town buy some ink for printer, do recycling, get back and I have a load of letters to write including one to my son I have not wrote since Christmas whoops...

Katie is teaching 4 pupils this afternoon individually so better had get a move on
