Fiona Katie performed in Manchester through a agency Superb Functions.com despite several attempts to get payment for the work she did this agency is in financial difficulty and does not have the Monies to pay her therefore it is with deep regret that with immediate effect Fiona Katie will no longer accept any work through the agency known as Superb Functions.
This Agency knew they were in financial difficulty yet continued to book artistes.
Although the agency was getting the money they were not passing it on. In my view this is theft and we will not deal with this company again.
It is always better to book Fiona Katie direct it works out cheaper for the client and proper contracts are drawn up.
We have had to contact the Musicians union regarding the above mentioned company and are now placing this matter in their hands

I ended up in a similar situation, but looking into further action to retrieve the money owed as they are still operating and seemingly doing well! Feel free to get in touch if you want be kept informed...
ReplyDeleteI run a covers band who are also owed money by the agency. Since March. They are con artists!
ReplyDeletei done two jobs for above agency in dec 08, they fobed me off for 6 months, in the end i went to their office and refused to leave without payment, then silly me, they talked me into doing another job in june 09 by saying "i would be paid straight away" i have been ringing and emailing every week,they pass the book around the office (the new one in bury) its christmas eve and still no payment....... they are cowboys....... from d wedding dj.
ReplyDeletei worked for them xmas 2009 and have yet to recieve payment i have sought legal advive on how to get payments owed to me from this agengy who are now in bury in plush offices and are doing well but still refuse payments to artists who work for them.i am taking them to court
ReplyDeletedexter love dj/comic this company is run by a conman ,who lives in a luxury house in westhoughton ,and has a villa in spain he ripped me off several times ,,and other companies in entertainment who he has used their acts dont get payed ,utter conman
