We rushed around this morning and got Fiona Katie to a gig at the local church we were re-doing a christmas party . It give me a opportunity to try out Fionas new Amp I bought her for christmas it did the job with ease and her harp boomed out.
This afternoon she is just having a clean up in the house and then tonight she is going to Bacup Folk Club . I am not going to go with her tonight as I have a prior engagement and I have appointments I cannot get out of on both Tuesday and Wednesday and again on Friday.
Well our plumber did not turn up as promised yesterday so I have had to phone him and he is going to sort out the barn later in the week
Weather- Feels cold outside again.... expect snow again by end of week!!!!!!!!!!!

Bare Arts - Todmorden
Fiona Katie was joined once again by Andy Hill and Ken Clapperton at a performance at the Barearts Brewery , Studio bar and Gallery.
What a fantastic place painted bright pink inside as soon as you walk in the place you are greeted by Trevor and Kath who treated us as if we were old friends.
I got to sample the beer and I have to say I have never tasted beer like it it was the best beer I have ever tasted in my life and I have been converted to buying my beer in fututre from this place.
Fiona Katie really enjoyed herself and Andy and Ken seemed to really enjoy themselves too.
I sat on the buffets which again were bright pink and were made out of plastic beer barrels with the cushions on the top.
The walls were covered in paintings by Trevors wife and although I am not much into modern art these painting were particularly good.
Trevors wife told me she did painting for fun not to make money .
I have decided to employ her services to paint the next harp I make.
I went out into the beer garden at the back which was just a few feet from the canal I imagine in summer that this place will really take off.
Due to licensing laws the performance had to stop at 10pm by this time I had sunk 3 pints of Fuggles beer and Fiona Katie had to drive us home as it was quite strong.
But what a great performance and a great night this turned out to be

I had a good Birthday celebration thanks to all those who played Andy Hill, Fiona Katie and Jenny.
Missed my daughters who were not able to make it..
Today I have been doing somework on the website you may notice that the dates page is finally up to date and the marriages that FK is playing on should all be on there as of todays date...
Our Draughtsman is currently drawing up a 3D model of a harp for me I am hoping that will be finished soon so I can contact the suppliers of materials and get them to start sending me the wood pre cut for the harps . We can then start producing quality harps at a reasonable cost from home.
Fiona Katie has her second Audition on Thursday for Britains got Talent and she is shaking like a jelly - lets all hope it goes well for her.
Tomorrows Job for me is to keep out of her way I think I will be servicing the little grey ferguson tractor to see if I am able to get it back into commission I do know that the battery had had it once running it is my intention to get it sorted out properly I was hoping it was done but the guy who mended it last time has sadly let me down so it does look if I am seriously going to have to have a fiddle with it myself!!!
